In class, we began analysing the specific types of codes and conventions music video have in order to understand better what we need to do for our final work. My team and I choose to draw a mind map of everything we discussed about in order to be able to go back to it when we needed to.
The Digi Pack
When it comes to the digi pack I began researching some examples,I looked at the general structure of a digi pack,the anatomy of it just as I did with the musci video but then I also researched specific examples of pop artists and how their digi packs looked.
Structure of a digi pack:
The structure is quite simple and standard for most of the digi packs that artists use. Even though we live in a postmodern era where no much emphasis is put on CD-s as almost everyone easily acceses the songs through a smartphone,I found some artists that used CD-s and had a look at them. I looked in particular at Jessie J,a pop artist who on that time displayed a very interesting design on her digi pack.
As shown in the analysis above,the scture is quite the same,the only difference is the specifc stle and design that the artist chooses in order to represent him and the genre he is into,in this case,pop.
