Forrest Gump-friendship scene

In this movie scene, the most relevant thing that suggests friendship is the character’s position. One man is holding the other one which suggests affection, sympathy and the bonds between each other. The colours of the setting are colder which connotes tension and drama. Also the facial expressions are really important as we can see that Forrest Gump is very worried for his friend, being really scared of his wounds and trying to do anything in order to help him. The way that Buba is holding Forrest and looks and him suggests that he trusts him. The lighting is realistic and natural in conformity with the setting. The costumes of the characters show that they are in a battle and the wet uniform of Buba suggests that he is covered in blood because of the wound.Also the blue colour in the back of the characters may connote sadness.
